The Licensing Grimoire

Every spell has its rules, and every story has its guardians. Some of the designs in our shop are officially licensed with the authors who created the worlds we adore. That means we’ve forged real agreements (think enchanted contracts, not boring paperwork) to bring their characters and quotes into wearable art and bookish treasures.

Why licensing matters
When you see a piece marked as officially licensed, you can trust that the author is part of the magic. They’ve given us their blessing to share designs inspired by their worlds, and a portion of sales goes directly back to them. It’s our way of honoring the stories that shaped us and making sure creators are supported for their brilliance.

📜 Licensing fees
Some authors require a licensing fee for designs based on their work. You’ll see this noted clearly on the site, so you always know when a design is part of an official partnership. It doesn’t change how much love we pour into every piece, but it does mean your purchase is helping both small artists and the storytellers themselves.

🌙 Transparency & trust
Not every design in the shop is tied to a license—sometimes inspiration strikes from the collective mythos of fantasy, folklore, or feminist rage. But whenever licensing applies, you’ll see it marked. No hidden tricks, just clear communication.

Because magic is better when it’s shared fairly.
